The recent proposal to change our CCR’s ballot return was:

·         26 yes votes

·         3 no votes

·         17 no responses (recorded as a no vote)

According to section 21 in the 1971 Amended CCR, the proposal was passed by the needed majority.

The proposal was taken to the county to be recorded and will be available to us by the end of August and you should receive a recorded copy by the end of September. 

We are going forward in organizing the voluntary Road Management Organization (RMO).

At this time, three things need to happen.

1.        Compile a list of owners wanting to be a part of the RMO “road committee”.

2.        A meeting time and place needs to be decided.

3.        Identify people interested in running for the “road board” so they can be put on the ballot. 

In our new CC&Rs, every owner is asked to be a member of a voting “road committee”. 

As a member, you agree to pay an annual membership fee of $100 for WHP lots with houses and $50 with a vacant lot. 

This fee is to be a maintenance fund for Freedline Drive and mailing expenses.  The road committee will NOT address snow removal or year round access.

Check or money order should be made out to WHP RMO and sent to Dick at 41109 N. Prosperity Way, Anthem, AZ 85086 for a proxy or e-mail ballot which is due back no later than Jan. 1, 2011, to be counted in the election or given to Dick at the Sept. 4 meeting.

The RMO will have an elected “road board” of three to seven people.  If you want to be a candidate for the Board of Directors of WHP RMO, please contact Len Kopecky, at 623-561-5949 or lenbev@cox.net. by August 20, 2010 so you can be put on a candidate list and ballot to be given to committee members.
